The river is still running at 1800 cfs and the fish are jumpin’ all over the lures. Sorry for the lack of reports lately, the combination of a nasty virus, fishing every day and one computer being down, has made it a little difficult. The steelies are spread throughout the river and they are on the seams. Areas where fast and slow water meet. Some fish are still on gravel spawning also. We have been plug fishing with hot shots and Rapalas, but casting from shore with egg sacks or worms will also work. The Brown Trout fishing on the lake has been on fire also. The water from the Salmon River to the State boat launch in Mexico has been producing on days when the wind doesn’t blow too hard.
