As good as it can get.

Our Steelhead fishing all Spring, has been as good as it can get. I am tired. No words…just pics.

Water up…water down…water up…

The last few days, the water level has gone up and down a lot. The fishing, on the other hand, has stayed nothing less than fantastic. Landing lots of fish each day with others on. Our Steelhead fishery is amazing. Hopefully, the predicted rain will keep the river level up and the water temp. cool. …

Incredible spring season

The river is still running at 1800 cfs, which is great for the fishing, but we are getting a little worn out from rowing in the big water. The fish are spread throughout the river and biting well. We have been spending our time in the top half from Altmar to Rt. 2A. Steelhead are …

Great fishing…again.

Still 1800 cfs and rain today and tomorrow. The dropbacks (post spawn fish) are everywhere. We have been fishing the top half of the river each day (Altmar to Rt. 2A) with a lot of success. All the places where they should be, they are. The water temp. is now in the low 40’s, which …

Fishing is red hot!!!!!

The river is still running at 1800 cfs and the fish are jumpin’ all over the lures. Sorry for the lack of reports lately, the combination of a nasty virus, fishing every day and one computer being down, has made it a little difficult. The steelies are spread throughout the river and they are on …

Lots of crome!!

Long time repeat customer David Chandler and his son cole fished the last two days with us, it was cole’s first steelhead trip. Out of the 14 steelies they landed, cole caught 9 of them, an outstanding accomplishment for a 13 year old or anybody for that matter!! River is 1800 cfs.

Browns slow up, Steelie’s still biting.

Here’s a few more pic’s from the last couple of days. We were beaten like a rented mule buy  numerous other fish, but that’s what we love and HATE about steelhead. 1800 cfs, 36 degree water temp. Nightcrawlers and egg sacs are working from shore. Stay safe.

After a few days of flood stage water we were able to get back on the river, what a day. Fishing was good from top to bottom. Once again a nice mixed catch of steelies and Browns, the Gasparrini crew did a number on them. The river is 1800 cfs at this time. Please be …

Early Spring lake browns

Went out for a few hours on Tuesday March 31st. to see if we could locate some near shore lake browns. We finally got to a spot with some good water and it had fish. Here is a video of the afternoon. Smithwicks, Thunderstick jr’s and jointed Rebels were the hot lures.

Well, we had some tougher fishing over the weekend. The river came up to 1500cfs and now is 1800cfs which, down river, is well over 3000cfs with added runoff. Plenty of fish and, most days, plenty of hook-ups. Landing them has been a little hard some days though. Be very careful when wading the river. …
